Arsenal Set Sights on Eberechi Eze After Gyökeres Capture

Arsenal have wasted no time in the summer transfer window, and with Viktor Gyökeres already secured, all attention now turns to their next target: Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze.

The 26-year-old England international has emerged as the top priority for Mikel Arteta, who is determined to add creativity and flair to his midfield ahead of the new season.

Eze enjoyed a stellar campaign last year, notching 14 goals and 11 assists, and playing a pivotal role in Palace’s FA Cup run—most notably scoring a decisive goal against Manchester City.

Reports suggest that Arsenal are preparing a £60 million offer, cleverly structured over instalments and potentially involving Reiss Nelson as part of the deal.

With Eze’s release clause set at £68 million, the Gunners are looking to negotiate smartly without triggering the full amount.

This move follows the successful signing of striker Viktor Gyökeres, who arrived from Sporting Lisbon for an initial fee of around £63.5 million.

The Swedish forward has already taken on the iconic No. 14 shirt, signalling Arsenal’s intent to strengthen both in attack and midfield.

Eze, a known Arsenal supporter growing up, is said to be keen on the move. With talks reportedly accelerating, fans could soon see another exciting addition to the squad.
