Nottingham Forest have sacked Nuno Espírito Santo and confirmed Ange Postecoglou as their new head coach.
Nuno’s exit follows disagreements with the club’s owner Evangelos Marinakis, even though he led Forest to a 7th-place Premier League finish last season and secured Europa League football.
Postecoglou, who recently left Tottenham Hotspur after winning the Europa League, has agreed to take charge at the City Ground. He will be on the sidelines this weekend when Forest face Arsenal.
The Australian coach is known for his attacking style and brings strong European experience, making him a big appointment as Forest look forward to both the Premier League and Europe this season.
