Hungarian police have launched an investigation after clashes involving rival supporters were reported in the city centre. Videos shared online appeared to show groups of fans fighting, with flares and other objects being thrown.
Authorities have deployed thousands of officers across Budapest as part of a major security operation ahead of the final, with tens of thousands of supporters expected to attend the match.
Despite the isolated incidents, the majority of Arsenal and PSG fans have enjoyed the pre-match atmosphere peacefully, gathering in fan zones and around the city to celebrate one of football’s biggest occasions.
Police are continuing their investigation and have urged supporters to enjoy the final responsibly.
