Liverpool have made their stance crystal clear—Luis Díaz is not for sale.
The Reds have rejected an approach from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich for the Colombian winger, with reports confirming that club officials, including Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl, reached out to discuss a potential deal.
However, Liverpool quickly shut down any negotiations, reaffirming their commitment to keeping the 27-year-old at Anfield.
This marks the second major club to test Liverpool’s resolve this summer, following earlier interest from Barcelona.
Yet once again, the Premier League side has made it known that Díaz remains a key part of their plans moving forward.
Díaz enjoyed a strong campaign last season, scoring 17 goals and playing a vital role in Liverpool’s title challenge. With a contract running until 2027, Liverpool see him as an essential part of their attacking lineup under Arne Slot, who has taken over from Jurgen Klopp.
While Díaz is said to be happy at the club, sources suggest he’s open to a contract extension—something Liverpool may consider as part of their future squad strategy.
Bayern Munich may continue to scout attacking reinforcements, but for now, it’s clear: Luis Díaz is staying put at Anfield.
