Andy Carroll Joins Dagenham & Redbridge in Surprise Move

Former England striker Andy Carroll has signed a three-year deal with National League South side Dagenham & Redbridge.

The 36-year-old also becomes a minority owner of the club, now under Qatari-led management.

Carroll, once Britain’s most expensive player, turned down offers from Europe to be closer to family.

He joins after leaving Bordeaux, bringing Premier League experience and international pedigree to the sixth-tier side.

His arrival marks a bold new chapter for Dagenham, blending experience, ambition, and leadership in their push to rise through the ranks.
