The Case Against Mudryk
The suspension stems from a failed doping test, with reports indicating the presence of meldonium, a substance prohibited in professional sport.
The test was reportedly conducted in late 2024, and Mudryk has not featured in competitive football since the issue first surfaced.
A four-year ban is considered a maximum-level punishment under anti-doping rules, usually reserved for serious violations.
If upheld, it would keep the Ukrainian international out of the game during what should be the prime years of his career.
Mudryk’s Response: “I Did Nothing Wrong”
Mudryk has strongly denied any intentional wrongdoing.
